The Waters Khao Lak By Katathani - Sha Extra Plus (Adults Only), Khao Lak

The Waters resort has a unique atmosphere as it feels more like a Western escape rather than a traditional Thai getaway. While the facilities, particularly the pools and gym, are well-maintained, my experiences with the rooms were less than favorable due to their outdated conditions and occasional flooding. The dining, although satisfactory, offers a Western-focused breakfast buffet that lacks true Thai flair. Overall, it's not a bad stay, but you'd have to weigh the cost against the experience.
